AustraHort Pty Limited is a company known world-wide for its products and services, namely, native and exotic tree, shrub, grass, palm and flower seed and a range of interesting horticultural commodities.
The company directly employs six expert staff in its Cleveland premises but indirectly, employs many more in direct and indirect services for seed collection.
The company is wholly owned by Michael Farrar who has had direct involvement in the native seed business for nearly thirty five years, first as M L Farrar Pty Limited and since 1998 in a merged entity named Austrahort Pty Limited.
The ethos within the company is the pursuit of excellence in the quality of seed we sell and the services that we provide, in the technology we employ and our restless pursuit of opportunities that can lead to product commercialization over time.
We thank you for visiting our website and trust that you will find its contents of interest and value.
With over 35 years experience, we are confident that we offer a service second to none in the Australian seed industry.
Native seed is collected the length and breadth of Australia and is stored in our modern atmosphere controlled facilities prior to shipment to customers within Australia and around the world.
A major part of our business is the supply of native seed to mine site revegetation programs as well as civil contracting concerns involved with roadside rehabilitation. We offer a service whereby seed is collected and held in our warehouses pending seasonal demands, thus ensuring a regular bulk supply. We have the facilities, technology and infrastructure in place to handle large volume, long term supply contracts and encourage interested parties to contact us with their requirements.
We are widely experienced in all forms of international trade and the development of new markets is always a challenge we respond to. We can accommodate any commercial documentary requirements and instruments of payment and assure our clients of the highest level of service and professional attention.
