Common Name: African Iris
Native to South Africa, a perennial growing 60 to 100 cm high with a clumping habit and long grass-like leaves. Flowers appearing spring/summer are creamy yellow with three dark purple spots surrounded by an orange halo. Popular in mass plantings, can be used for weed suppression and erosion control. Drought tolerant.
