Common Name: Blue Quandong
Native to Australia, a subtropical rainforest tree growing 28 to 35 m. A large single trunk with buttress roots which are an attractive feature of this tree. Flowers appear March to June, bell shaped green/white in racemes along branches. Fruit are bright blue, 2 to 3 cm diameter, used in jams and pickles, and a source of vitamin C. Somewhat frost tolerant, prefers full sun.
