Common Name: Sandpaper Fig
Native to coastal Australia from Mackay, Queensland to Mallacoota, Victoria.
A small tree growing 6 to 12 m high and spreading 3 to 5 m.
Juvenile leaves are hairy, adult leaves have a sandpaper like texture on the upper side.
Fruit is edible and attracts birds. Suitable for shady gardens or indoor containers.
