SYZYGIUM wilsonii ssp wilsonii

Common Name: Powderpuff Lilly Pilly

An evergreen, small, spreading shrub with a weeping habit growing 1 to 3 m. Endemic to north Queensland rainforests but is suitable in climates from Cairns to Sydney. New foliage is pink, maturing to glossy, dark green leaves. Red puffy bird attracting flowers are followed by clusters of edible white fruit. Suitable ornamental plant for any garden.
