Common Name: Small-Leaved Fig
Native to eastern Australia, New Guinea and Indonesia. Seedlings grow on other plants (epiphyte) or rocks (lithophyte), growing to 60 m high and nearly as wide with a buttressed trunk and canopy of glossy green leaves. Yellow to red fruits appear April to July are eaten by birds. Used as a shade tree in parks, indoor containers and bonsai.
