Common Name: Persian Silk Tree
Native to southwestern and eastern Asia.
Small deciduous tree growing 5 to 15 m with a broad, horizontal canopy of arching branches.
Leaves are bipinnate. Flowers appear in summer in dense inflorescences with tight clusters of white or pink/white stamens.
Used as an ornamental garden or park specimen. Tolerates low water and grows well in full sun in hot climates.
